Not the same

I recently ordered three boxes of Tastefuls cat pate: beef, chicken, and Salmon. When I first opened a can of the beef I immediately noticed that the recipe had changed! My cats noticed the difference immediately and will not eat the beef. It is now dry, filled with cereals, and an entirely different recipe than in the past. I now have to throw away 22 cans of Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Beef Entré Pate Wet Cat Food because my cats refuse to eat it.

Tastefuls Bait and Switch

I recently ordered three boxes of Tastefuls cat pate: beef, chicken, and salmon. As always, the order arrived quickly. When I first opened a can of the beef I immediately noticed that the recipe had changed, without any indication to the consumer. My cats noticed the difference immediately and will not eat the beef (I tried two times), which had been their preferred flavor. It is now dry, filled with cereals, and an entirely different recipe than in the past. I understand the need to keep costs down in this period of run-away inflation, but Chewy should not carry a product without indicating that the recipe has changed. The real blame, of course, lies with Tastefuls. I now have to throw away 22 cans of Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Beef Entré Pate Wet Cat Food because my cats refuse to eat it.

I can't recommend this product!

My cats ate the beef flavor and cleaned their bowls the first few times I fed them this new flavor. Once they had eaten it several times they quit eating it. But before they stopped eating the beef flavor I had ordered a case of the variety pack. When it got here they turned up their noses at all three flavors and wouldn't touch them. They will eat the beef flavor if I remove the dry food that I leave out for them and there is no other food out. Over all I cannot recommend this product to my friends. I won't buy this product again.

I have seen one happy kitty since this product what can I say Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Spoonless Singles Beef Entrée you didn't disappoint my inky went right to the dish of blue Buffalo tastefulls and cleaned the bowl we will be buying more !

Great product for picky eater

This is fed to my older cat and she loves it. As this cat had some teeth pulled the pate is the best for her and her digestive system. She is not fussy but this is her favorite food.

Feed Me More!!!

MeeMoo our 15 year old cat has renal problems/failure and we started mixing mixing Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Beef to off-set the taste of the food she is suppose to eat but does like. Mixing it helps a lot and keeps her going on year 3 since being diagnosed. Thank you

I was hopeful that my cats would like this selection. I'd like to see them eat something besides fish or chicken, so beef seemed a good choice. In general, I always thought that they preferred pieces in gravy selections, but lately they seem to have been choosing pate's, or at least some pate's. The problem with this one I think is that it's very dry and sticky. I tried adding water to it, mashing it in, but it didn't help. Out of seven cats, no one has really been eating this, or at least, not much of it. I'm sure it's healthy and has better for them ingredients. I have told them that. They just don't care.

too watery

Some months ago I purchased a can of Tastefuls beef pate, and it was firm and the cats loved it. I ordered a case of it, but the food in these cans is mushy and more watery. Not only do the cats not like it as much, but there are far fewer calories per can. I won't purchase Tastefuls again.
